On Tuesday July 11, 2017, the Montgomery County Council is expected to approve funding to hire special counsel, Dentons Law Firm, to investigate the legality of the FAA's flight path changes to and from Reagan National Airport that are negatively impacting numerous Montgomery County neighborhoods. The Montgomery County Quiet Skies Coalition advocated strongly for this urgent need for legal expertise in federal aviation issues, and we are very grateful that the Montgomery County Council is moving forward on these issues.
